Director Of Admissions

Essential Functions

• Captures and coordinates tours of the facility with prospective Residents, families, and referrers.
• Aids Residents and their families through the admission process by ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and medical records are gathered.
• Prepares rooms for new Residents upon their arrival.
• Meets with Residents and their families on the day of admission to address any questions and facilitate a smooth transition.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to manage admissions, discharges, and room transfers.
• Maintains relationships with the local medical community to secure referrals.
• Develops and implements marketing strategies for the facility.
• Participates in presentations for healthcare professionals and other potential referral sources.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of any hazardous conditions, equipment damage, or supply shortages.
• Maintains infection control and standard precaution practices.
• Fulfills safety protocols during tasks and while using equipment and supplies.
• Promotes a warm, respectful, and caring environment for Residents.
• Communicates effectively with Residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
• Responds promptly to call lights in Resident care areas.
• Reports Resident concerns to relevant department heads.
• Attends and participates in departmental meetings and in-services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in a marketing role within healthcare or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred.
• Two years of related experience.
