About the role

The Director of Admissions and Enrollment at Alpha is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth families. This role requires a deep understanding of the Alpha educational model and the ability to engage with families in a manner that fosters trust and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with each enrolled family, ensuring their needs are met and their confidence is maintained.
  • Identify potential concerns before they escalate and address them discreetly and empathetically.
  • Maintain visible presence in family-facing moments, including morning arrivals, afternoon departures, evening parent gatherings, and select weekend programming.
  • Develop a campus culture that fosters a sense of belonging and authenticity.
  • Generate parent champions through consistently high-quality experiences that encourage word-of-mouth referrals.
  • Sustain the conversation about Alpha's AI-driven approach with families managing screen time concerns, skeptical relatives, and periodic doubts.
  • Recognize when a family fit isn't optimal and manage that determination with the same care as universal community protection.
  • Create the structures and routines necessary within an environment where standard operating procedures are still developing.

Requirements

  • Currently reside within commuting distance of one of the listed campuses or willing to relocate within 60 days.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • 5+ years in a relationship-centered role serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families.
  • Proven capacity to sustain relationships through challenging moments with sophisticated families while preserving trust.
  • Authentic presence and communication approach that builds confidence swiftly with affluent, high-expectation families.
  • Direct familiarity with independent, private, or non-traditional education.
  • Exceptional candidates may have established relationships within the local affluent community, private school or independent school background, or prior startup experience.
