Job Summary
The Director of Admissions position at UEI College is responsible for staffing, training, and managing a compliant campus Admissions Team to facilitate the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admission. This role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience, with at least 2 additional years of experience as an Associate Director of Admissions or Director of Admissions. A thorough understanding of the education admissions process, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team are essential.
Responsibilities
- Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to student enrollment.
- Recruit, train, and develop highly talented admissions professionals.
- Manage lead distribution to Admissions Team.
- Monitor the daily/weekly activities of Admissions Team to ensure admissions objectives are met.
- Conduct second interview of prospective student enrollments.
- Motivate the Admissions Team to meet its admissions objectives while adhering to the highest ethical standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage compliance with student enrollment process, including inquiries, phone screens, and interviews.
- Prepare and manage the department budget.
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
- An additional 2 years of experience as an Associate Director of Admissions or Director of Admissions.
- A thorough understanding of the education admissions process.
- The ability to motivate, build, and successfully manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.
