Director of Accreditation and Licensure

About the role

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee continuous survey readiness activities system-wide
• Develop actionable strategies for compliance with regulatory standards
• Monitor and report areas of non-compliance and implement solutions
• Direct the periodic review and revision of policies and procedures
• Provide expert consultation and training to leadership and staff on accreditation procedures
• Serve as liaison with regulatory bodies, including The Joint Commission
• Facilitate leadership reviews and develop improvement action plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
• 5+ years of experience coordinating regulatory agency survey activities
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task
• Organizational skills to support a multi-component system
• Flexibility with occasional out-of-town travel for seminars
