About the Role

The Director of Accounts Payable will directly manage the Accounts Payable function for the Stonebridge Companies portfolio of hotels and lead the Denver-based accounts payable team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Accounts Payable process and team.
  • Process invoices using M3, Ottimate, and Paymerang systems.
  • Partner with the treasury team to monitor cash balances and execute payments on a strategic cadence.
  • Manage vendor onboarding while adhering to compliance requirements.
  • Champion workflow automation initiatives to streamline and improve efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Handle year-end 1099 processing and research discrepancies related to compliance.
  • Multitask effectively, manage time, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Hospitality management experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, AP automation tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • High-level accuracy, attention to detail, and technical proficiency.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with occasional standing, walking, and lifting of items up to 10 lbs. Requires extended periods of sitting while using computers and financial records. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on reporting deadlines and operational needs.

Pay

$95,000 – $115,000 per year.
