Director of a Dental | Medicaid Non-Profit

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Medicaid dental program, ensuring quality patient care and operational efficiency
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and expand access to dental care
• Lead and manage a team of dental professionals and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards related to Medicaid services and dental care
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and government agencies
• Monitor program performance, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform strategic decisions and grant applications
• Advocate for the needs of the community and represent the dental program at community events and meetings

Requirements

• Experience in dental care management or public health programs, with a focus on Medicaid services
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams in a healthcare or non-profit environment
• Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations, dental health disparities, and community health initiatives
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Proficient in data analysis, program evaluation, and grant writing
• Passion for improving access to dental care and a commitment to community service
