Director, Nurse Consulting Services
About the role
The Director, Nurse Consulting Services and Clinical Reporting oversees the nurse consulting team and provides operational and financial analysis, reporting, and administrative support to the Clinical Operations team. This role collaborates with Directors of Clinical Operations, Nurse Consultant Managers, Consultant Pharmacists, and corporate leadership to ensure accuracy in financial tracking, reporting, and program support.
Responsibilities
- Overall management responsibility for the team and oversight of all nurse consulting services for existing customers.
- Manages activities and resources among the department as they conduct all new nurse consulting.
- Develops service metrics and reports that provide senior management insight into the customer experience and identify potential issues.
- Works in a consultative role with internal departments to develop and communicate nurse consulting services processes.
- Facilitates all customer trainings and in-services.
- Generates Operating Report (MOR) for Clinical Operations and Overhead.
- Maintains reporting for productivity trend report, forecast, budgeting, and department KPIs.
- Maintains and distributes STI goal and performance trend reporting.
- Updates and maintains Consultant Group distribution lists, mailing lists, and Share Site access.
- Maintains organizational charts and maps for accuracy and updates.
- Reports metrics for NCS services and CRM hours.
- Collaborates with Clinical Program Manager on clinical projects to support resources and programs for nurse consultants and consultant pharmacists.
- Affords assistance with execution of deliverables for year-round and seasonal vaccine programs.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- 5-7 years in long term care experience required.
- Prior field service, supervisory experience, and/or project management experience is preferred.
- Ability to professionally communicate contracted customer goals and directives to defined team members.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Technologically savvy & intermediate or above computer skills.
- Familiarity with managing with metrics.
- Familiarity with P&L required.
