Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, architecture, and operational excellence of enterprise network services that support critical business operations and client connectivity.

  • Define and lead the design and implementation of complex enterprise network architectures, including LAN, WAN, data center, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud environments.

  • Own enterprise-level network operations, ensuring availability, capacity, performance, and security across on-prem and cloud environments.

  • Drive a cloud-first, automation-led network strategy, improve operational reliability and recovery, and strengthen governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) maturity.

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team of network engineers while partnering closely with product, infrastructure, security, audit, and risk teams to ensure network services meet business, client, and regulatory expectations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering, operations, or infrastructure leadership roles within large, global enterprises.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing technical teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience supporting regulated or highly audited environments.

  • Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including: - TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS VLAN, STP Network security protocols (IPsec, SSL/TLS)

  • Extensive experience with enterprise network devices and vendors.

  • In-depth understanding of network security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control.

  • Proven ability to lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and operational improvement programs.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

  • Demonstrated experience driving organizational process improvement and change.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in enterprise network architecture and operations.

  • Strong experience with data center, hybrid, and cloud networking.

  • Advanced network certifications (CCIE, JNCIE).

Skills

  • Experience with Infoblox, Guardicore, or similar network/IPAM/security platforms.

  • Prior ownership of client connectivity platforms or services.

  • Experience building centralized network topology or observability repositories.

  • Advanced network certifications (CCIE, JNCIE).

Schedule

DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).

Pay

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
