About the role
As a Director of National Sales, you are an influential leader who develops a high-energy sales culture that fosters success, enthusiasm, and a winning atmosphere as you lead several managers and support staff. You will be responsible for overseeing all national political sales revenue in assigned Spectrum Reach markets, leading client-facing efforts, and collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop and implement sales strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Oversee and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with company goals
- Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to exceed performance metrics
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of media sales experience
- 5+ years of national sales experience
- 2+ years of management/leadership experience
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to build and manage relationships with clients and partners
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
