About the role

The role involves conducting advanced microbiological research, developing new diagnostic tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in the field of microbial diagnostics.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting laboratory experiments and analyzing data to support research projects
  • Developing and validating new diagnostic assays and methodologies
  • Collaborating with scientists, engineers, and clinicians to integrate cutting-edge technologies into diagnostic workflows
  • Writing technical reports and presenting findings at internal and external conferences

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques, including PCR, sequencing, and protein expression
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • PhD in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • Experience with high-throughput sequencing and bioinformatics analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and standards for diagnostic development

Skills

  • Proficiency in laboratory equipment and techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and develop solutions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
