Our HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood team is looking for a Director Medical Surgical. Responsibilities
- Lead, enhance, direct, organize, monitor, and control all operational services in the Nursing Service Units to ensure cost-efficient, high-quality patient care
- Assess, plan, develop, implement, and coordinate strategies and tactics of the Business Service Units of responsibility to achieve optimal financial performance, cost efficiency, business growth, quality performance, clinical superiority, and market leadership
- Provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety, and related criteria for the adult and geriatric population
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (RN)
- Registered Nurse license required
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in nursing, business, or healthcare preferred
- Five (5) plus years clinical experience in medical and critical care nursing
- Five (5) plus years progressive critical care/medical management experience
