Job Overview

Lead the Dermatology US Medical Affairs team, as a valued strategic partner with Clinical, Commercial, and Marketing teams to bring innovative therapeutic solutions to improve the lives of patients and establish Acrotech as a leader in atopic dermatitis.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership for Acrotech’s dermatology portfolio, with a focus on advancing medical affairs goals in atopic dermatitis.
  • Led the development of the integrated Medical Affairs plan, executing on medical affairs tactics that are aligned with the overall product development and launch strategy.
  • Acts as the dermatology scientific and therapeutic area expert, supporting and strategically working cross functionally to partner with internal key stakeholders, including clinical development, commercial brand teams, regulatory affairs, and finance.
  • Develop Real World Evidence generation capability for building additional evidence for regulatory submission and post launch assessments.
  • Leads organization and execution of advisory boards, investigator meetings, medical strategy forums, and internal scientific discussions focused on atopic dermatitis.
  • Builds and maintains high-level relationships with KOLs in dermatology, managed care organizations, advocacy organizations, and government/regulatory bodies.
  • Provide medical input and product expertise to develop medical communications, content and publication plans.
  • Maintains and monitors scientific and industry trends in dermatology to provide expert insights on the competitive landscape and therapeutic advancements, including advisor and strategic partner across the organization on all dermatology-related matters.

Qualifications

  • MD, PhD, or PharmD with a focus in dermatology and experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry within Medical Affairs in positions of increasing technical responsibility
  • Minimum 3 years in dermatology required
  • Proven ability to develop and lead launch plans and post-marketing programs in dermatology
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across scientific, clinical, and commercial audiences
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed organization
  • Proficiency in scientific analysis, data interpretation, and statistical methods relevant to dermatology, including in-depth experience with prescription dermatology medications
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-level scientific relationships and represent Acrotech in external engagements within dermatology
