Director-Materials Management

Responsibilities

• Maintains supply needs of customers and develops improvement plans with measurable goals.
• Promotes BMHCC vision/values through personal example and interaction with staff and ensures compliance with BMHCC policies and procedures.
• Directs overall operation of materials management departments and works with staff and customers to enhance efficiency and quality of service.
• Controls overall financial/budgetary management of the department through analysis of departmental operations and identifies opportunities for cost reduction.
• Communicates and interacts with staff and key customers to improve customer satisfaction.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum Required - At least 2 years of relevant leadership experience
• Preferred/Desired Experience: in healthcare with demonstrated abilities to direct team activities as well as in basic business applications.
• Education: Minimum Required - Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred/Desired: M.S./M.B.A. with 4 years experience. B.S. with 6 years experience.

Training

• Minimum Required: Special Skills - Strong written and oral communication skills, Ability to lead and engage people to achieve goals, Strong attention to detail and effect organizational skills.
