Director, Learning Experience Design Science

Responsibilities

• Champion product taste with a focus on efficacy, creativity, and user engagement
• Translate vision into instructional artifacts, ensuring alignment with learning science and equity-driven pedagogy
• Drive discovery by collaborating with cross-functional teams and gathering user feedback
• Coach the team in creating both gamified and teacher-directed learning experiences
• Establish frameworks for formative research to enhance content creation
• Leverage learning science to support research on product efficacy
• Manage team dynamics to foster collaboration and innovation, while scaling operations effectively

Qualifications

• 8+ years in learning experience design or educational content development
• 3+ years leading teams in fast-paced product development environments
• 3+ years K-12 classroom teaching experience or equivalent
• Experience using data for product iterations and design
• Proven track record in launching engaging digital learning experiences
• Deep knowledge of national/state academic standards and the K-12 landscape
• Experience designing for digital platforms
