Director - Labor Relations

Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. Responsibilities

• Anticipate changes and collaborate with divisional leadership for pro-associate initiatives
• Recommend strategies to avoid and mitigate workplace disputes
• Collect, analyze, and prepare reports on labor union activity
• Provide insights on labor trends to enhance associate engagement
• Design and deliver best-in-class pro-associate training and education
• Develop individualized labor relations interventions, including travel to facilities
• Advocate for fair pro-associate workplace practices
• Promote technological tools to enhance HR and people leaders' resources
• Analyze labor union activity and recommend action plans
• Build strong relationships within the Associate Relations team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Labor Relations or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8 years experience as a Labor Relations Specialist in unionized or non-unionized organizations
• Advanced knowledge of labor and employee relations principles, including relevant laws
• Seasoned understanding of HR management programs and policies
• Proven ability to apply labor relations laws in everyday situations

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
