About the role
This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a consumer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate changes and collaborate with divisional leadership for pro-associate initiatives
- Recommend strategies to avoid and mitigate workplace disputes
- Collect, analyze, and prepare reports on labor union activity
- Provide insights on labor trends to enhance associate engagement
- Design and deliver best-in-class pro-associate training and education
- Develop individualized labor relations interventions, including travel to facilities
- Advocate for fair pro-associate workplace practices
- Promote technological tools to enhance HR and people leaders' resources
- Analyze labor union activity and recommend action plans
- Build strong relationships within the Associate Relations team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Labor Relations or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8 years experience as a Labor Relations Specialist in unionized or non-unionized organizations
- Advanced knowledge of labor and employee relations principles, including relevant laws
- Seasoned understanding of HR management programs and policies
- Proven ability to apply labor relations laws in everyday situations
Pay
$110,000 – $130,000 annually
