About the Role
A system-level position at St. Peter’s Health Partners responsible for providing, coordinating, and evaluating the administrative, fiscal, and technical activities of the Department of Laboratory Services in consultation with the Chief of Pathology. Ensures the efficient operation of the department while demonstrating the organization's commitment to sound ethical business practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative, fiscal, and technical activities of the Laboratory Services Department.
- Coordinate operations in consultation with the Chief of Pathology.
- Ensure compliance with organizational ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Four-year degree, preferably in Medical Technology.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Valid New York State License from the Department of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT).
- Eight years of experience, including four years managing a clinical laboratory.
- Meets supervisory qualifications of the New York State Department of Health.
Pay
Pay range: $68.90 - $92.75 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary by location.
