Director IT & Security Operations

About the role

The Director of IT and Security Operations is a strategic leader responsible for ensuring operational excellence across IT infrastructure, cloud services, and security operations. This role oversees day-to-day IT and cybersecurity functions, manages help desk escalations, drives technology and security projects, and ensures the reliability, security, and compliance of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, combined with strong knowledge of security frameworks and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT and security operations, including infrastructure, cloud services, and end-user support
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
• Establish and enforce IT and security policies, standards, and best practices
• Lead security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Implement and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and mitigate technology risks
