Responsibilities
- Drive client engagements to successfully plan and complete intricate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and carve-outs/divestitures.
- Leverage financial expertise and project management skills, including GAAP accounting principles and S-X regulatory compliance, to support clients in diverse financial accounting and reporting considerations.
- Collaborate across Accounting Advisory functions to provide support during "off-market" periods, ensuring seamless assistance for other offerings while focusing on primary transactional responsibilities.
- Participate in business development opportunities, market services, and generate new opportunities through existing relationships.
- Address business obstacles with insightful solutions and impactful deliverables, collaborating with both CrossCountry and client teams.
- Contribute to developing and implementing AI-enabled solutions for clients, staying informed about emerging tools and techniques and collaborating with firm leadership.
- Mentor team members by coaching, providing feedback, and resolving multi-faceted issues.
- Identify key industry developments and trends, articulating their potential impact on clients.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm).
- Expertise leading clients through IPO readiness assessments and execution, including timeline and reporting requirements; drafting financial sections in registration statements and responding to SEC comments; preparing technical accounting memos; guiding clients through PCAOB uplift; serving as a leader/co-leader in the IPO working group.
- Comfortable with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
- Strong project management skills, including cross-functional experience, external audit liaison, and working group experience.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- CPA or CA certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Willingness to travel (with thoughtful scheduling practices).
Pay
An estimate of the current range is $230,000 - $400,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
