About the role
The Director of Institutional Growth Marketing serves as a force multiplier for Choreo's institutional growth efforts, transforming strategy into action by building prospecting programs, conducting market research, developing compelling sales enablement assets, creating growth campaigns, and helping establish a repeatable engine for CPA partner acquisition. This role is ideal for a hands-on builder-operator who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to build systems from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- CPA Growth Engine Development
- Build and refine the infrastructure supporting CPA partner acquisition.
- Develop target firm segmentation strategies and prospect prioritization frameworks.
- Leverage tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and third-party research sources to identify high-value opportunities.
- Help establish repeatable processes that increase the quantity and quality of CPA partner conversations.
- Research & Market Intelligence
- Conduct research on CPA firms, industry trends, growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and target audiences.
- Translate research into actionable recommendations and growth initiatives.
- Surface insights that strengthen Choreo's CPA acquisition strategy.
- Sales Enablement Content & Storytelling
- Create compelling presentations, case studies, thought leadership pieces, one-pagers, and executive-facing materials.
- Continuously strengthen Choreo's institutional value proposition.
- Develop assets that help business development teams communicate Choreo's differentiated value effectively.
- Support initial outreach and introductory meeting preparation with materials that are clear, persuasive, and tailored to the CPA audience.
- Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute targeted institutional growth initiatives.
- Support outreach programs, nurture campaigns, and strategic marketing efforts designed to increase qualified CPA engagement.
- Measure effectiveness and continuously optimize performance.
- Strategic Project Leadership
- Partner closely with the VP of Institutional Growth & Marketing on high-priority growth initiatives.
- Independently drive projects from concept through execution.
- Balance multiple workstreams while maintaining speed and quality.
- Influence stakeholders, ask strong questions, and push back when needed rather than simply serving as an order taker.
What Success Looks Like
After 12 months, successful candidates will have:
- Helped establish a repeatable CPA prospecting engine.
- Increased the number of qualified CPA meetings entering the pipeline.
- Built a scalable library of sales enablement and institutional marketing assets.
- Delivered meaningful research and insights that influence growth decisions.
- Created processes that allow institutional growth efforts to scale efficiently.
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, institutional marketing, sales enablement, business development support, market intelligence, product marketing, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience personally building and executing growth initiatives.
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation development, and communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to independently drive projects in ambiguous environments.
- Experience using prospecting, CRM, and sales intelligence platforms.
- Track record of translating ideas into execution and measurable business outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience supporting B2B, professional services, financial services, wealth management, consulting, or relationship-driven growth models.
- Experience building acquisition or partner-development programs.
- Familiarity with CPA, advisory, wealth management, or professional-services ecosystems.
- Experience with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM workflows, account-based marketing, or related growth tools.
