DIRECTOR, INSTITUTIONAL EXECUTIONUS: $200,000–$300,000 Base + Bonus & EquityEurope: €180,000–€270,000 Base + Bonus & EquityRemote | US or Europe The Opportunity Certus Recruitment is partnering with an ambitious and growing digital asset and financial technology business to appoint a Director, Institutional Execution. The business is building institutional-grade infrastructure across the crypto and digital asset markets, supporting sophisticated clients across both on-chain and off-chain markets. This is a senior commercial role focused on developing institutional relationships and expanding the business across the evolving digital asset ecosystem. You’ll work with institutional investors, trading firms, liquidity providers and other professional market participants, helping them access sophisticated crypto markets and infrastructure. We’re looking for an experienced institutional markets professional who understands crypto, liquidity and market structure, and who can combine strong institutional relationships with the commercial ability to identify, develop and win new opportunities. The Role Develop and grow relationships with institutional investors, trading firms and market participantsIdentify and win new business across crypto and digital asset marketsBuild relationships with liquidity providers, exchanges and other ecosystem participantsIdentify opportunities across both on-chain and off-chain marketsUnderstand institutional requirements and translate them into commercial opportunitiesWork closely with Product, Technology, Trading and Operations teamsHelp shape the institutional proposition and go-to-market strategyMonitor developments across digital assets, liquidity, market structure and technologyRepresent the business with senior institutional stakeholdersDrive revenue growth through new relationships and existing client expansion What We're Looking For Significant experience within institutional markets, trading, capital markets or digital assetsStrong understanding of crypto markets and on-chain/off-chain infrastructureEstablished network of institutional clients and market participantsStrong understanding of liquidity and institutional trading requirementsProven track record of developing commercial relationships and winning new businessStrong knowledge of the institutional digital asset landscapeExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsCommercially driven with the credibility to engage senior decision-makersComfortable operating in a fast-moving, technology-led environmentStrategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a business operating at the intersection of institutional finance, crypto and financial technology, and play a key role in building its institutional business.
