Director Infrastructure Engineering

About the role

This role leads the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions within a defined technology domain, while driving alignment across Engineering, Operations, and Service Management. The Director is accountable for establishing scalable infrastructure patterns, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring reliable, cost-effective service delivery. Additionally, the role provides strategic and people leadership across teams, translating business needs into technology solutions and execution roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of infrastructure solutions within a defined technology domain.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Operations, and Service Management.
• Establish scalable infrastructure patterns and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure reliable, cost-effective service delivery.
• Provide strategic and people leadership across teams.
• Translate business needs into technology solutions and execution roadmaps.
• Simplify and standardize complex processes.
• Manage resources, vendors, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years in Information Technology or 12 years equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in Infrastructure & Operations leadership.
• Experience in infrastructure engineering, automation, and operations management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of business priorities and technology strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with cloud, compute, network, EUC, or distributed systems.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• ITIL or similar framework experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills.

Pay

$133,400.00 - $247,700.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
