About the Opportunity

The Director, Information Technology is responsible for leading technology operations, reliability, and security to support the organization's business services. This role shapes and executes the overall IT strategy, balancing long-term architecture and operational excellence. It manages a team and oversees vendor partnerships to ensure alignment with organizational standards, directly impacting the effectiveness and security of IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IT strategy and annual plans aligned with organizational mission and goals.
• Manage IT budget, vendor contracts, and service agreements, optimizing cost and performance.
• Build relationships with business leaders to translate priorities into IT initiatives.
• Establish governance and performance measurement processes for IT operations.
• Oversee infrastructure environment ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop infrastructure roadmaps, lifecycle planning, and capacity forecasting.
• Direct day-to-day infrastructure management and change processes.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop and maintain information security program including policies and controls.
• Identify and mitigate technology and data security risks; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead security architecture reviews and incident response planning.
• Manage delivery of security awareness and training programs.
• Oversee managed service provider operations and vendor relationships.
• Conduct performance reviews, contract management, and cost negotiations with MSP and vendors.
• Facilitate communication protocols and user satisfaction reviews for support services.
• Design software solution architecture and strategy aligned with business needs.
• Lead software selection, procurement, and technical implementation.
• Maintain knowledge of technology advancements to improve business efficiency.
