Director, Information Security

For our client, a leader in the Healthcare space, we are seeking a Director of Information Security to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity strategy development and execution
• Oversee cybersecurity risk management and control environments
• Serve as trusted advisor to executives and the Board on cybersecurity insights
• Manage cloud security and incident response initiatives
• Ensure performance of security vendors and service providers
• Collaborate with business leaders to enhance organizational resilience
• Develop the Information Security team and promote security awareness

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity or IT risk management roles
• Experience leading cybersecurity teams and enterprise security initiatives
• Skilled in translating technical risks into business insights
• Exceptional communication with executive and non-technical audiences
• Strong governance and risk management expertise
• Industry experience in insurance or financial services
• Proven management of third-party security relationships

Pay

$120,336 – $171,908 annually
