About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying sourcing strategies that optimize third-party services across all global spend, including warehousing, inbound and outbound transportation, and customs brokerage. This role will work closely with business and process partners across Hasbro as a key member of both the Global Indirect Procurement and Global Logistics & Planning Leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies and category plans for logistics services that support and align with enterprise objectives.
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and/or external consultants to deliver cost savings through global and regional sourcing events, including providing executive updates as needed.
  • Pursue cash flow improvements through supplier payment terms extensions.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms with key suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with Hasbro procurement policies and governance standards across all regions by working closely with finance, legal and other functions as needed.
  • Lead a team of Procurement professionals.
  • Partner with category business teams and IT to select and implement logistics technology, including AI-based solutions where appropriate.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain management, procurement, business or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, to include at minimum 5 years in an indirect procurement function, at an international organization.
  • Proficiency in strategic sourcing methodologies (e.g., category planning, market intel, dual sourcing, etc.).
  • Experience developing and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
  • Familiarity with sourcing platforms and contract management systems.
  • In-depth experience conducting RFx and negotiating commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in contract law.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Track record of building connections with key partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong cross-functional teaming skills and ability to build credibility and trust through subject matter expertise and demonstrated results.
  • Aptitude to troubleshoot and make timely decisions on a variety of issues, with the goal of maximum favorable outcomes and minimal risk to the business and bottom line.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills and the ability to clearly convey relevant information to a broad spectrum of audiences.

Pay

The pay transparency range for this role is listed below. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package, depending on role, location, and eligibility.

Pay Range: $158,200 USD - $237,300 USD
