Director, Imports, Trade Compliance and Customs | Forensic and Litigation Consulting

Responsibilities

• Manage concurrent client projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality
• Lead domestic and international trade compliance investigations and audits
• Develop and enhance client compliance programs and controls
• Mentor and supervise engagement staff, fostering professional growth
• Support business development through proposal writing and client relationship building
• Stay current on evolving U.S. and global trade regulations and policies
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and thought leadership content

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, International Business, or related field
• 6+ years of progressive import trade compliance and international trade experience
• Strong leadership, project management, and client communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, FTZs, free trade agreements, and sourcing requirements (e.g., Buy America)
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• Advanced Degree (JD, MBA, or Masters) preferred
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or similar certifications preferred
• Experience with trade compliance software and data analytics tools preferred
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities preferred

Pay

Minimum Pay: $91,000
Maximum Pay: $278,000
