Responsibilities
- Implement strategic priorities established in the business plan for illustrations at Penn Mutual
- Lead the illustration ecosystem (tools, vendors, outputs, governance)
- Define roadmap for future-state capabilities
- Set standards for consistency, compliance, and user experience
- Oversee and improve inforce and new business illustration capabilities
- Manage vendor relationships and platform performance
- Assess, prioritize and approve API requests from distribution partners and other vendors
- Ensure timely, accurate delivery of illustration outputs
- Partner with: Product & IT (system evolution), Legal (assumptions, disclosures), and translate field needs into scalable solutions
- Evaluate and implement: Potential AI overlays, Improved UX / visualization, Faster case design tools
Requirements
- Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of life insurance products and illustration systems
- Substantial knowledge of the Illustration Model Regulation, appropriate actuarial guidelines and applicable FINRA requirements for illustrations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with field leaders, and home office leaders and associates in all departments (including IT and product)
- Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills, including the ability to make and implement plans, set priorities, perform multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required
- 7-10 Years of case design or illustration development work in an insurance company
- Licenses: Series 6 and 26 or other equivalent professional licenses preferred
Pay
Salary range: $135,000 to $175,000
