Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all Human Resources and Risk Management functions.
- Develop HR strategies that support the company's business goals.
- Advise executive leadership on HR and risk-related matters.
- Build employee engagement and support a positive workplace culture.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and employee wellbeing programs.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategies.
- Manage the company's risk management policies and programs.
- Develop and administer workplace health and safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Supervise and coach HR team members.
- Assist with strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, and donor information.
- Manage department planning, budgeting, and implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 8 years of progressive Human Resources or Risk Management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or Risk Management certification is strongly preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee benefits, workplace safety, and compliance.
- Experience with strategic planning, organizational development, and change management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn and use HRIS software, including Paycom.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
