About the role

The Director HR Business Partner is a strategic business partner to Akkodis North America business leaders, providing HR expertise and business acumen to drive organizational success. Reporting to the VP HRBP, this role is accountable for defining and executing comprehensive people strategies for the Business Unit that align with and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates understanding of business needs and provides HR strategic and interpersonal expertise for various company strategic initiatives
  • Builds trust and develops strong collaborative partnerships at all levels within the organization
  • Creates and implements programs to drive retention, workforce planning, and talent development
  • Leverages data insights and HR analytics to recommend and implement initiatives and programs that remove barriers and drive business results
  • Acts as a coach and trusted advisor to internal clients, driving the talent agenda for the business
  • Uses critical thinking skills to act decisively while proposing solutions and tracking successful outcomes
  • Maintains confidentiality and serves as a role model that encourages others regarding the Company's values and ethical standards
  • Demonstrates expertise in change management and leverages change management tools to support organizational transformation
  • Stays accountable for current market trends, ensuring programs and initiatives remain relevant in the competitive marketplace
  • Leads organizational upskilling and reskilling initiatives to prepare the workforce for the future of work
  • Identifies emerging skill gaps and partners with Learning & Development to design and implement targeted development programs
  • Demonstrates AI literacy and ability to understand artificial intelligence applications, implications, and opportunities within HR and business operations
  • Drives AI adoption initiatives, evaluates AI tools and technologies for the business units assigned, and leads change management for AI-enabled processes
  • Promotes and partners with business and technology leaders to identify and implement AI-driven solutions for talent management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
  • Partners with local and global stakeholders like Finance, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Legal to drive critical projects and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management or a related discipline with a minimum of seven (7) years of related human resources experience, with a minimum of three (3) years as an HR Business Partner with broad knowledge and experience in all aspects of talent development
  • Exceptional leadership, business acumen, and HR expertise with the ability to influence organizational outcomes in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with HR systems, HRIS platforms, and analytics tools
  • Comfort learning and adopting new technologies and digital tools

Benefits

Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan. Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
