Director, Head of Structured Products Legal, Americas

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of lawyers supporting structured products across the Americas
• Advises on the development and issuance of structured notes and other products
• Partners with senior personnel to ensure efficient transaction execution
• Reviews and negotiates transaction documentation, including offering and marketing materials
• Provides legal advice on U.S. securities laws and distribution obligations
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to support governance and execution
• Maintains awareness of legal regulations affecting structured products and advises on their impacts

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of post-J.D. experience in structured products or capital markets legal work
• Deep knowledge of U.S. securities laws and broker-dealer regulation
• Experience with equity derivatives products and OTC equity derivatives documentation
• Proven ability to advise on complex transactions, balancing commercial and legal risks
• Strong people-management skills for leading and developing a legal team
• Qualified lawyer in good standing in New York

Pay

$270,000 – $330,000 annually
