Director, Global Value Evidence Strategy, Nephrology & Immunology

Lead the global value evidence strategy for assigned nephrology/immunology assets, providing strategic input into integrated evidence plans and driving evidence generation to support value demonstration, market access, reimbursement, and patient access objectives. This role also chairs the Value Evidence Sub-Committee for relevant products and indications globally and reports to the Executive Director, Global Value Evidence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate health technology and value evidence input into clinical development programs.
  • Serve on the Product Development Committee and support the Executive Director for tasks related to internal and/or alliance governance committees.
  • Chair the Value Evidence Sub-Committee.
  • Act as Value Evidence lead in the development and maintenance of the Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP).
  • Develop the global value evidence strategy, considering payer (including health technology assessment agencies), provider, patient, and policy maker evidence needs.
  • Assess HTA needs for the assigned product and disease area, tracking methodological requirements.
  • Oversee completion of all global deliverables for the assigned product/indication to support HTA and reimbursement submissions, including:
    • Economic models
    • Real-world evidence
    • Evidence synthesis & meta-analysis
    • Global HTA statistical analysis plan
    • Global value dossier
    • AMCP-format dossier
  • Coordinate and provide scientific support for HTA submissions outside the U.S., working with subsidiaries.
  • Lead company responses to HTA evaluations in the U.S. (e.g., ICER).
  • Develop and generate post-approval real-world evidence in collaboration with external researchers and experts.
  • Create a comprehensive publication and communication plan, including presentation and publication of key value evidence at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed journals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years (PhD/MD/PharmD) or 12 years (Master’s degree) of relevant pharmaceutical company or payer experience in access, outcomes research, health economics, observational studies, Health Technology Assessment, or a related field.
  • Late-stage drug development and launch experience.
  • Experience with evidence generation in rare diseases.
  • PhD or Master’s in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, health services research, health policy, pharmaceutical administration, or a related field; OR MD or PharmD.

Pay

Annual salary range: $186,489 – $278,875, plus incentive opportunity. The range represents typical pay for individuals hired in the U.S., with actual pay determined by job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents.
