Director Global Health & Safety

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage global EHS policies, standards, and programs for compliance and effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement in critical performance metrics such as LTIR and TRIR.
• Lead initiatives to develop a positive safety culture and empower team members.
• Educate and raise awareness around risk management and performance measurement in EHS.
• Consult on EHS matters and collaborate with management across various company functions.
• Ensure that adequate safety and regulatory training is provided to all associates.
• Oversee organization-wide safety communications and maintain compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, industrial safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years in Environmental Health & Safety roles, including 5+ years in a supervisory manufacturing capacity.
• 5+ years of experience implementing a global EHS program.
• Strong ability to motivate and influence at all organizational levels to reach safety objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

$125,000 – $150,000 annually
