Responsibilities
- Establish and manage global EHS policies, standards, and programs for compliance and effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement in critical performance metrics such as LTIR and TRIR.
- Lead initiatives to develop a positive safety culture and empower team members.
- Educate and raise awareness around risk management and performance measurement in EHS.
- Consult on EHS matters and collaborate with management across various company functions.
- Ensure that adequate safety and regulatory training is provided to all associates.
- Oversee organization-wide safety communications and maintain compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, industrial safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years in Environmental Health & Safety roles, including 5+ years in a supervisory manufacturing capacity.
- 5+ years of experience implementing a global EHS program.
- Strong ability to motivate and influence at all organizational levels to reach safety objectives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay
$125,000 – $150,000 annually
