Job Summary

The Global Design & Construction team (GDC) is responsible for planning, designing and delivering the world's most interconnected data centers. Our global footprint includes more than 270 data centers across ~35 countries and ~75 metros. Our goals are to deliver more reliable and flexible capacity to the business, faster and cheaper. GDC is seeking an experienced leader responsible for leading the modernization of our data analytics capabilities and driving our AI transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Analytics Strategy: Lead analytics strategy, aligned to business priorities and transformation objectives. Define analytics as a scalable capability, not isolated reporting efforts. Translate business complexity into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership.

  • Platform Modernization & AI Enablement: Drive modernization of analytics platforms through automation, and standardization. Lead adoption of advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and self-service reporting to improve efficiency and insight quality. Eliminate manual reporting through fully automated, governed analytics solutions.

  • Governance, Architecture & Security: Help maintain reporting standards, metric definitions, and sources of truth. Shape analytics architecture principles that balance scalability, performance, and usability. Own analytics access and security models, including role-based access and compliance-driven design.

  • Portfolio & Delivery Oversight: Govern a portfolio of analytics and transformation initiatives, prioritizing work based on business value. Oversee end-to-end analytics lifecycle, ensuring adoption and sustained value. Balance near-term delivery with long-term platform health and scalability.

  • Leadership & Stakeholder Partnership: Lead and develop the global vision for GDC analytics. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on performance, trends, risks, and data-driven opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Construction or a related field or commensurate experience

  • Significant experience within the data science/analytics domain, typically 10+ years' experience

  • Preference for data science/analytics experience in the construction domain

  • Relevant professional certifications or continuous learning in analytics, data, or AI preferred

  • Experience operating in a highly cross-functional, multinational business ideally in the data center industry

Skills

  • Proven track record delivering large-scale analytics modernization initiatives

  • Advanced Power BI and SQL skills, and utilizing AI

  • Dynamic, forward-thinking leader with a bias for action, rapid experimentation, and ability to break down complex problems and deliver novel solutions to address them

  • Analytical problem solver with the ability to work under pressure and multitask while leading cross-functional teams

  • Excellent communicator, able to simplify complexity and tailor messaging based on audience

  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor

  • Ability to demonstrate ownership and proactively drive initiatives while meeting business deadlines

  • Ability to balance collaboration and driving alignment, while being decisive

Pay Range

The targeted pay range for this position in the following locations is:

  • United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI: $177,000 - $265,000 USD / Annual
  • United States - DC10 Washington DC: $195,000 - $293,000 USD / Annual
  • United States - CH2 Chicago: $195,000 - $293,000 USD / Annual
  • United States - Redwood City Office GHQ: $213,000 - $319,000 USD / Annual
  • United States - New York City Office NYO1: $195,000 - $293,000 USD / Annual
  • Canada - Toronto Office TRO: $166,000 - $248,000 CAD / Annual
