Director FP&A

Job Description

This highly visible role will lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis while helping scale the finance function to support continued growth. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with a collaborative business-partnering approach and enjoys transforming data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
• Partner with executive leadership and department heads on growth initiatives, operational efficiency, and resource allocation
• Own key business and financial metrics, proactively identifying risks and opportunities
• Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Drive financial analysis related to new initiatives, investments, pricing decisions, and business expansion opportunities
• Improve financial systems, reporting capabilities, and planning processes to support scalability and automation
• Help build and develop the FP&A function as the organization grows

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience with significant FP&A and strategic finance expertise
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience supporting senior management

Compensation

Compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual's skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring notes that the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
