Director, Forward Deployed Engineering (Epic)

Job Summary

Qualified Health is seeking a Director of Epic Forward Deployed Engineering to build and lead the team that bridges our AI platform with health systems. This role requires deep technical expertise and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of Epic Forward Deployed Engineers
• Own the integration relationship with strategic health system clients
• Design and deliver AI-powered clinical tools in collaboration with client teams
• Manage the interface delivery roadmap for each client
• Represent QH at client forums and steering committees
• Align forward deployed integration work with the core platform roadmap

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare IT, Epic implementation, or clinical informatics
• Proven track record in Epic implementations and health system IT
• Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder alignment
• Familiarity with FHIR R4 and modern EHR integration patterns
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, clinical, or healthcare-related field

Preferred Skills

• Epic certification in multiple modules
• Experience with SMART on FHIR and CDS Hooks
• Background in clinical decision support or clinical informatics
• Experience with healthcare AI or clinical NLP
• Experience with other EHR platforms
