HybridFinance$96k–$103k/yrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use

for each heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID etc. Remove boilerplate. Include only sections with real specific content. We need to parse the job posting. Key sections: - About Braven (maybe not needed? Not listed as heading; but we could include About the role? The posting has "About The Role". That's a heading. We'll use

    About The Role

then prose. - Responsibilities: The "What You'll Do" section with bullet points (Budgeting & Forecasting - 40%, Management & Board Reporting - 25%, Cross-Functional Partnership - 25%, Other duties, as assigned - 10%). Those are duties. We'll list them as
    • . - Requirements: Minimum Requirements bullet list: Bachelor's degree..., 5+ years..., 3+ years non-profit experience... We'll list as
. - Preferred Qualifications: list of items. Could be under Qualifications or Skills? The instruction says we can have sections: Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide where to put preferred qualifications. Could be under Qualifications. Or Skills. Probably Qualifications. - Skills: maybe not explicit; but we could include some skills from preferred qualifications like communication, ERP, etc. But we should not invent. If we put Skills section, need real specific content. The posting includes "Excellent written and oral communication skills", "Familiarity and knowledge of accounting principles/theories (GAAP, FASB)", "Prior experience with an ERP implementation or major system migration strongly preferred (Workday specifically a plus)", "Experience with budgeting/reporting tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning a plus", "Team player and business partner who demonstrates the ability to work in a collegial, collaborative, and fast-paced organization", "Strong listening skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to lead through influence and by example", "Effective project, time, process, and people management skills which enables them to manage multiple, changing priorities and initiatives, and to 'get things done' in a timely manner", "Demonstrated commitment to building strong and welcoming cultures that help to develop others", "Exemplification of Braven's core values", "Experience that has informed your belief in Braven's mission and has prepared you to work with, or for, Braven's student Fellow population". Those could be considered qualifications or skills. We could put them under Qualifications (Preferred Qualifications) and maybe not have a separate Skills section. The instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could combine Requirements and Qualifications into one? But they ask to use headings for those categories if content exists. We have both Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications. Could make two sections: Requirements (minimum) and Qualifications (preferred). That seems appropriate. - Benefits: The posting lists benefits: unlimited vacation time, Carrot benefits, 401K match, health insurance coverage, paid parental leave, sabbatical. Also mentions compensation philosophy. We'll create Benefits section with list. - Pay: The posting includes hiring ranges for geographic markets: Atlanta $95,900-$103,000, Chicago $101,200-$108,700, New York City/Newark $111,300-$119,600. Also mentions based on 50-hour work week. That's pay info. We'll create Pay section with that info. - Schedule: The posting includes location hybrid, work demands: Ability to work in-person 3 days per week, travel up to 4 times per year, extended hours during budget season and monthly close cycle. Also location: We gather in office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) and work remotely 2 days a week (Monday and Friday). So schedule info: hybrid, 3 days in-office, 2 remote. We'll create Schedule section with that. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, application instructions, etc. We must not repeat job title as heading. We must not include metadata like Job ID, requisition numbers. We must preserve all substantive information. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's structure:

        About The Role

... prose from "About The Role" paragraph(s). The posting includes: "In order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven is hiring a Director, Financial Planning & Analysis professional who will serve as a trusted resource, leader, and collaborator across the organization on financial planning, forecasting, and decision-support topics. As a member of the Finance team within the People & Operations department, you will lead organization-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision support, translating program and operational strategy into actionable financial plans. This role is on the People & Operations team and reports directly to the Chief Finance & Admin Officer (CFAO)." We'll put that in

        . Then Responsibilities:

        Responsibilities

        • Budgeting & Forecasting - 40%: Own the annual organization-wide budget process, partnering with department and program leaders to build realistic, defensible budgets; Maintain rolling multi-year forecasts incorporating enrollment, funding, and headcount assumptions; Build and maintain scenario models (best-case, worst-case, and most-likely) to support board and executive decision-making; Translate program and operational strategy into financial models that quantify costs, returns, and trade-offs for leadership decisions; Own and lead monthly budget-to-actual variance meetings with department and program leaders, flagging risks and opportunities to leadership; Own a rolling cash flow forecast that models grant and gift receipt timing against operating cash needs, partnering with Development on receipt timing and flagging liquidity risk to the CFAO; Serve as the organization's functional owner of its budgeting and planning systems (Workday budgetary controls, Adaptive Planning), maintaining model structure, hierarchies, and dashboards each budget cycle
        • Management & Board Reporting - 25%: Build and maintain KPI dashboards tracking organizational performance against plans for leadership, the Board, and Finance Committee(s); Partner with Development on revenue forecasting tied to funding pipeline and multi-year grant/gift commitments; Prepare Board & Committee materials, including budget presentations and variance narratives
        • Cross-Functional Partnership - 25%: Serve as the primary financial planning partner to non-finance department leaders, providing independent analysis and recommendations that shape their budget decisions, including training on budgeting and planning tools and troubleshooting support; Partner with the Finance grants lead to ensure that grant-funded program budgets are accurately reflected in organization-wide forecasts without duplicating compliance-level detail; Own compensation and headcount budget modeling, partnering with the People Team on underlying assumptions
        • Other duties, as assigned - 10%
But we might want to split each bullet into separate
      • for each duty category. The instruction: Use
        • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can have each duty category as a list item. That's fine. Now Requirements:

          Requirements

          • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
          • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
          • 3+ years of non-profit experience, specifically comfortable with budgeting, forecasting, and board-level financial reporting
          Qualifications (Preferred):

          Qualifications

          • Excellent written and oral communication skills
          • Familiarity and knowledge of accounting principles/theories (GAAP, FASB)
          • Prior experience with an ERP implementation or major system migration strongly preferred (Workday specifically a plus)
          • Experience with budgeting/reporting tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning a plus
          • Team player and business partner who demonstrates the ability to work in a collegial, collaborative, and fast-paced organization
          • Strong listening skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to lead through influence and by example
          • Effective project, time, process, and people management skills which enables them to manage multiple, changing priorities and initiatives, and to "get things done" in a timely manner
          • Demonstrated commitment to building strong and welcoming cultures that help to develop others
          • Exemplification of Braven's core values
          • Experience that has informed your belief in Braven's mission and has prepared you to work with, or for, Braven's student Fellow population
          Benefits:

          Benefits

          • Unlimited vacation time in addition to org-wide holidays and week-long shutdowns in July and the end of the calendar year (minimum of 20 days per year)
          • $25,000 in lifetime Carrot benefits for fertility, family-building, and hormonal health
          • 401K match of up to 5% of base annual salary, starting first full month
          • Coverage of 85% of health insurance premium for employee and dependents
          • 12 weeks of paid parental leave
          • One-month paid sabbatical after 4 years on staff
          Pay:

          Pay

The hiring ranges for this role by geographic market are: Atlanta $95,900‑$103,000; Chicago $101,200‑$108,700; New York City/Newark $111,300‑$119,600. This is based on a 50‑hour work week.

          Schedule:

          Schedule

Hybrid role: required to work in‑person in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, or Newark 3 days per week (Tuesday through Thursday) and remotely 2 days per week (Monday and Friday). Travel up to 4 times per year. Extended hours during budget season and monthly close cycle.

We should also include location? The location is already in schedule. The posting also includes "Location: Hybrid in Atlanta (GA), Chicago (IL), New York (NYC), or Newark (NJ)". We covered that. We should not include "About Braven" as a heading because not in list. Could we include it as a paragraph under About The Role? The "About Braven" is separate paragraph before About The Role. It describes the organization. Might be considered part of About The Role? The instruction: Use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should not create other headings like About Braven. We could incorporate that info into About The Role paragraph or maybe a separate

before About The Role? The instruction says do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. It doesn't forbid other headings not listed, but they gave examples of headings to use. It says "use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." That suggests we should only use those headings. So we should not add About Braven heading. We could include that info in a

before About The Role or incorporate into About The Role paragraph. Probably best to add a short

          about Braven
