Director Financial Aid, $15k Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of financial aid professionals.
• Financial Aid Expert: Develop and implement effective financial aid policies and procedures.
• Attention to Detail: Oversee the financial aid application process, award packaging, and disbursement.
• Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to staff.
• Advisor: Provide students with financial aid options and eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a post-secondary education setting (required); Minimum five (5) years of supervisory/leadership experience in financial aid operations (preferred); Minimum five (5) years’ experience administering Title IV financial aid programs (preferred); Title IV proprietary education experience (required).
• Background: Must not be in default on any Federal Student Loans and must remain in good standing while employed (required); NASFAA credentials or Title IV-related certifications (preferred).
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; Proficiency in personal computer software applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
