Director - Financial Accounting & Reporting

Job Duties

Oversees the general accounting function, which includes inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, balance sheet management.

Collaborates with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with policies and directives, US GAAP, and SEC reporting requirements.

Ensures the accounting department is staffed with qualified financial personnel capable of meeting objectives and responsibilities.

Provides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company entities.

Other Related Duties

• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: 5 years Accounting experience, Prior management experience preferred.
• Experience: 10 Years Accounting Experience preferred.
• Knowledge: Current State of Louisiana Certified Public Accountant certification.

• Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
• Proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
