Director Finance Operations

About the role

This role will provide financial leadership to create and protect value in the Americas Region, particularly for the US/CA Franchise Operations. You will shape and enable the delivery of the Americas Franchise strategy through strong financial leadership, partnering with the Franchise Performance Support Organization to ensure funds and resources are deployed effectively to drive required results.

Responsibilities

• Enable and help shape the delivery of the Americas Finance strategy through functional leadership.
• Lead delivery of effective and appropriate financial support to the Americas Franchise to drive improvement in business performance through direct and indirect reports.
• Deliver analysis of metrics to shape key business decisions, investments, and strategic projects.
• Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategic change and communicate effectively with senior leadership in a complex matrix organization.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of progressive work-related Hotel operations Finance experience, with preference for operations and franchising experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic change.
• Strategic, analytical, and influencing skills to sustain high-impact relationships with key stakeholders for delivery of results.
• Ability to effectively balance delivery of short-term results with stewardship of the business and sustaining longer-term competitive advantage.
• Travel - 10-15% required.

Location: This role can be based in any metropolitan US city.
