Director Finance

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Partner with the General Manager and Executive Team to drive profitability and business performance.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable business decisions.
• Oversee cash management, capital planning, audits, and compliance.
• Analyze labor, purchasing, inventory, and operational costs to identify opportunities and risks.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant.
• Develop and mentor a talented finance team.
• Participate in strategic planning and help shape the direction of the resort.

Qualifications

• Love spreadsheets but can still hold a conversation.
• Think "forecasting" is exciting.
• Can explain a variance without causing panic.
• Know the difference between being cost-conscious and being cheap.
• Believe that every successful operation starts with strong financial discipline.
• Can walk into an Executive Committee meeting with confidence and leave everyone understanding the numbers.
