About Our Global Engineering Sciences Team
As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today’s most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries, including automotive, construction, consumer products, consumer electronics, and medical devices. Secretariat leverages our diverse technical expertise and industry knowledge of a variety of structures and products to provide clients with world-class value to identify solutions that drive performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Attract and win new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and strategic consulting roles
- Contribute to the growth of Secretariat’s Electrical Engineering practice by recruiting talented staff
- Mentor and drive the growth of Electrical Engineering staff
- Provide project management and project budget oversight
Qualifications
- Established track record for business development and an existing client base
- PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science & Engineering
- Approximately 6–8 years of work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous testimony experience in deposition, trial, arbitration, or hearings
- Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills
- Desire to lead and handle auxiliary tasks associated with a growing practice within a rapidly expanding firm
- Ability to travel globally as needed
- Experience with power electronics, industrial process control, consumer products, circuit analysis, or control systems is a plus
- Ability to work odd hours to adjust to global client needs
Pay
$180,000—$250,000 USD. Compensation for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and location.
