Director, Endowments & Foundations

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Endowments & Foundations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will help drive growth for an institutional investment advisory practice serving nonprofit clients, with a focus on expanding relationships and delivering fiduciary investment solutions. The director will partner closely with practice leadership to shape strategy, strengthen client retention, and elevate the team's market presence. This is a highly visible position that blends business development, client service, and team leadership in a mission-driven segment of the investment advisory market.

Location

Remote — US-based candidates only; no visa sponsorship available.

Pay

$150,000 – $175,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Support practice strategy and growth planning alongside leadership
• Originate and close new business mandates with nonprofit organizations
• Oversee client service delivery and retention for existing relationships
• Develop and execute marketing and thought leadership initiatives for the practice
• Mentor and lead the Endowments & Foundations team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPA) and/or CFA preferred
• 7+ years of institutional asset management or nonprofit investment advisory experience
• Demonstrated success in selling discretionary OCIO or fiduciary management solutions
• Experience with P&L management and business planning
• Strong understanding of nonprofit governance and fiduciary standards
