For our client, we are seeking a Director, Employee Relations to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This leader will oversee employee relations strategy across a complex healthcare organization, helping ensure fair, compliant, and consistent people practices. The role will partner closely with HR leaders and business stakeholders to address sensitive workplace matters, strengthen manager capability, and support a positive employee experience. The Director will also use data, investigations, and crisis management expertise to reduce risk and improve outcomes across multiple sites. Location: Emeryville, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $202,030 – $323,232 annually Responsibilities Develop and implement employee relations strategies aligned with organizational goals Partner with HR to create proactive employee relations solutions using metrics and analytics Conduct comprehensive risk assessments using employee feedback and workplace metrics Coach leaders on performance management and effective conflict resolution Lead workplace investigations and crisis responses to sensitive employee matters Oversee restructuring processes ensuring compliance and dignity for affected employees Drive team performance and improve service delivery based on feedback and data Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience accepted 8 years of recent relevant experience in employee relations Progressive experience managing managers and multi-site teams in complex environments Expert knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations Advanced investigative skills and experience in crisis management and disciplinary actions High proficiency in leveraging data and analytics for business outcomes Strong executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Benefits Access to a comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive work environment promoting inclusion and engagement Flexible scheduling with minimal weekend requirements Potential for advancement in a large integrated system Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
