Director, Electronic Design Engineering
Job Description
As part of the product development team within the High-Performance Analog division of MACOM, the candidate will supervise the development of next generation products for data transport over copper and fiber in the datacenter and access markets. The candidate will drive the development of new IP, the feasibility studies, the selection of device architectures, the designs execution and schedules as well as coordinate with other cross-functional teams during the various development phases from device concept to production release. The candidate will also provide mentorship and work with individual contributors and managers on defining goals for career development and growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
- MSEE and 10+ years’ experience
- Previous Management and Technical lead/Chip architect experience
- Demonstrated capability to drive teams to successful product introduction through best in class execution
- Demonstrated capability to attract and retain talent
- A track record of innovation
- In-depth understanding of analog and high speed design fundamentals
- Experience with high speed data communication products (multi-Gbps equalizers, crosspoints, CDRs, PLLs, laser drivers, TIAs)
- Experience with BicMOS and/or sub-micron CMOS tech
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Pay
The Salary Range for this position is $141,000 – $241,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
