About the Role
Plans, directs, coordinates, and controls resources of the Food and Nutrition Services Department to provide excellent service to customers, employees, and patients. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Service, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related field
- Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in related field
- Minimum Experience: 5 to 7 years of hospital or nursing home experience, depending on formal degree and training
- Required Certifications/Licensure: Certified Food Manager by the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District or ANSI Accredited Food Manager Certificate
- Preferred Certifications/Licensure: Licensed/Registered Dietitian and/or Certified Dietary Manager. Possession of current licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Dietitians and current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association
