The Director, Development Strategy & Operations at PragerU is responsible for coordinating a team of 30+ and acting as the group's conductor. Key duties include:
- Serving as the CEO’s liaison to the fundraising team
- Interacting professionally with high-net-worth individuals and donors
- Cooking up meeting agendas for timely and thorough preparation
- Overseeing all reporting for both internal and external stakeholders
- Handling approval processes for various projects and documents
- Creating and modifying existing SOPs for the department
- Taking the lead for onboarding new team members
- Managing internal workflows for event success
Requirements include:
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising, development operations, strategic initiatives, or organizational leadership
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate 2nd- and 3rd-order effects
- Proven problem-solver with an entrepreneurial drive to build and improve
- Proficiency with fundraising CRMs and related software
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with high ethical standards and strong alignment with PragerU’s content, presenters, and worldview
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in handling diverse responsibilities
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15 - 20% of the time
- Critical thinker and collaborative team player with a strong sense of urgency
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and adapting quickly to shifting priorities
- Ability to manage up and provide strategic/vision input to executive team
