Director, Deal Desk

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Director Deal Desk to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a Business Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to design pricing, packaging, and contract terms for deals
• Act as a strategic advisor on accelerating deal closures without compromising economics
• Create innovative deal structures for large customers
• Oversee complex deals as the final escalation point, balancing speed and risk
• Enhance and automate the deal desk processes and approval workflows
• Conduct thorough deal-level margin and profitability analyses
• Collaborate with legal for contract redlines and manage contract lifecycle enhancements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
• 7-10+ years of relevant experience in deal desk management or commercial strategy, preferred in SaaS or digital health sectors
• Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models, including ARR/ACV and hybrid pricing
• Experience in negotiating non-standard commercial terms with legal teams
• Proficient in CRM, CPQ, CLM systems, and financial modeling tools
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational capabilities

Compensation

$140,000 – $210,000 annually
