Director, Data Product Management
About the role
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Data Product Management to join our Conventional Trust team to lead our Data strategy and critical data workstreams. This role is located in New York, New York.
Responsibilities
- Owns the vision, strategy and roadmap for Corporate Trust data, ensuring the delivery of trusted, accessible and commercially relevant data to business users.
- Led data product development with deep expertise in data trends, data design, and data infrastructure.
- Drive the definition of data domains, data models, critical data elements, and data ownership for Corporate Trust across relevant client, product, deal and system constructs.
- Define authoritative sources and Enterprise Masters consumption strategy to enable source-to-consumer data supply chains.
- Establish robust governance, stewardship and controls across the data lifecycle to improve quality, transparency and accountability and manage data risks.
- Enable all trusted data to be available for targeted users/consumers, and create insights across service, product, operations, risk and other personas/domains needed to run Corporate Trust.
- Manages and leads the data product team, and uses subject matter expertise, experience, and thought leadership to influence key stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Collaborates with Corporate Trust leadership and Enterprise data partners to ensure data strategy aligns with company goals, leveraging strong experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies to support iterative development and delivery.
- Oversees budgeting and resource allocation for data product initiatives and drives product launch and go-to-market strategy, modified as needed based on local regulations and requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, business analytics, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience, required.
- 10–12+ years of demonstrated ability in data product development and delivery, with a proven track record of defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.
- Prior experience in the financial industry, preferred.
- Balances technical knowledge and business acumen, with a proven track record of launching products in partnership with engineering teams and working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, product development teams, and Enterprise Data capabilities.
- Demonstrated high proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development, with expertise in data design and data infrastructure.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, business analytics, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience, required.
- 10–12+ years of demonstrated ability in data product development and delivery, with a proven track record of defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.

Schedule
The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
