Director, Data Engineering

This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth of the Palantir practice through strategic business development efforts
• Define and communicate a strategic vision for the practice aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee all aspects of practice growth including sales, recruitment, and engagement management
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team focused on Palantir delivery excellence
• Manage engagement risks, economics, and ensure client satisfaction with deliverables
• Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market trends and shaping client offerings
• Guide solution architecture on Palantir to address complex client needs

Qualifications

• 12+ years of leadership experience with 10+ years in consulting/professional services
• Experience managing a business line and P&L, ideally with new practice launch or scaling
• Proven client engagement experience on Palantir's platforms, including Foundry and Gotham
• Familiarity with a pod-based, embedded delivery model with client teams
• Experience managing senior-level teams including technical and strategic roles
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to government and regulated clients
• Strong financial management skills and experience operating a business

Pay

$185,709 – $272,373 annually
