Job Description Summary
This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval.
About the Role
The Quantitative Investment Science group is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to fully manage and deliver their private equity data platform.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership and lead on features and functionality, design, code, run and maintain pipelines, transformations, views, test suites for applications and data validation purposes
- Mentor team members on software and data engineer guidelines and processes
- Lead work with Data, DevOps and Application development teams on integrating automated testing with CI/CD processes
- Involvement in testing and deploying internal data quality applications
- Implement and delivery data quality pipeline frameworks
- Implement and deliver data warehouse pipelines and modeling
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability Leading Data Engineering and Analysis teams
- Proven experience with data-centric testing and deployment of FinTech based applications, data analysis, data pipelines and ETL for large datasets
- Proficiency in MSSQL or equivalent SQL RDBMS
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with DBT and Azure Data Factory and Pipelines
- Experience with MS Synapse and Snowflake desired
- Familiarity working in a scrum/agile SDLC environment
Qualifications
- Business Intelligence and Analytics application experience preferred
- Experience delivering software applications and data to a wide audience preferred

Benefits
Base Salary Range $220,000.00 - $230,000.00
This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs.
