Director, Cybersecurity Engineering
About the role
Our company is looking for a leader to join our Cyber Rapid Innovation organization to spearhead new technology initiatives. This leader serves as an enterprise-wide point of contact and subject-matter expert for emerging technologies and how they impact our overall security footprint. Additionally, this individual will serve as a liaison between our company and the broader cyber industry and community. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office) based in Rahway, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end proof of concept exercises for our CISO organization
- Interface with vendors, peers, and the broader industry to stay on top of new and emerging technologies in the security ecosystem
- Oversee the engineering and implementation of complex security systems both on-premises and in the cloud
- Build a strong internal network to ensure cohesion across multiple business verticals
- Ensure engineering excellence is front and center as new solutions are brought in and enabled
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum five years of managerial experience in people leadership, with the ability to inspire and guide teams
- At least 5 years of Engineering leadership experience, with a specific focus on large enterprise-scale initiatives
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
- Demonstrated innovation in the field of technology and/or cybersecurity
- Adept at networking and building partnerships within the industry
- Commitment to execution excellence, ensuring high standards in all projects
- Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems

Pay
The salary range for this role is $156,900.00 - $247,000.00. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
